Gratifying Care was founded in 2020 by Registered Nurse Theresa Ziwenga with a clear vision: to provide aged care services that combine clinical excellence with genuine compassion, where clients are known personally rather than treated as numbers in a system.

After years of working in aged care-both in large corporate organizations and boutique settings-Theresa recognized a gap in the market. Many aged care providers were either large corporations where personal relationships were lost, or small providers lacking clinical depth and professional standards. She envisioned something different: an organization “small enough to know you, skilled enough to help you.”

From our office at 32 Brompton Ave, Curlewis on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula, Gratifying Care has grown steadily while maintaining the personal touch that defines us. What started as a dream to serve the local community has blossomed into an award-winning organization serving over 90 clients across the Bellarine Peninsula and Greater Geelong region.

Our growth has been intentional and careful. We’ve never chased size for its own sake. Every new client, every new team member, every expansion of services has been considered through the lens of maintaining quality and personal relationships. Today, five years later, we’re proud to be recognized as a leader in boutique aged care while still maintaining the intimacy and personal approach that makes Gratifying Care special.
